Lara Gutheil

Lara joined Gruenberg Kelly Della in the Litigation Department in 2013, handling cases from initial intake and investigation through trial and post-judgment phases in both State and Federal Courts. During her time in the litigation department from 2013 through 2018, her work included extensive client communication; acquisition and review of medical records; and the preparation of bills of particulars, discovery demands and responses, and arbitration submissions. She has also previously been responsible for coordinating the firm’s calendar; facilitating trial preparation; creating document templates and other procedures; training other employees; assisting in the electronic filing of all the firms’ documents via NYSCEF; and Surrogate’s petitions and death compromises. She has been a licensed Notary Public since 2013.
Since 2018, Lara has worked in the Motion and Appeals Department, while still retaining a case load of complex litigation cases. She currently works in concert with senior trial counsel Frank Braunstein in coordinating the motions, legal research, and appeals for the entire firm.
