Dennis C. Valet

Leveraging his experience litigating complex multi-million dollar commercial disputes, Dennis Valet brings a serious and prepared approach to every trial. Prior to joining Gruenberg Kelly Della, Dennis Valet gained wide-ranging experience at Long Island’s top litigation firms where he served as senior trial and appellate counsel, arguing cases before Federal and State judges and juries, as well as the Appellate Division. 
As Senior Trial Counsel, Dennis utilizes lessons learned in courthouses across the state to maximize his clients’ positions, whether through shrewd negotiations or methodical trial practice. 
Dennis received his Bachelor’s Degrees in Finance and Operations and Strategic Management from Boston College in 2008. He received his J.D. from Hofstra Law in 2012.
Outside the courtroom, Dennis serves as a USA Hockey on-ice official where he referees youth, high school, and collegiate hockey on Long Island. He also serves as the attorney advisor to The Stony Brook School’s mock trial team, which consistently ranks among the best high school teams on Long Island.
