Eva Leone Kennedy, ESQ.

Eva Leone Kennedy joined Gruenberg Kelly Della in 2019. She has focused her entire legal career on civil litigation with an emphasis on personal injury. She specializes in the area of automobile accidents and general liability cases. She has successfully represented her clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, litigation and in motion practice. Her persistence and hard work have resulted in six and seven figure settlements and awards for her clients.
Ms. Kennedy earned her Bachelor’s degree from Stony Brook University, graduating magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa in 1987. She earned her Juris Doctor from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 1992 graduating cum laude. During law school she was a Member of Law Review and had the privilege of interning for the Honorable J. Gowen, in the Supreme Court, Suffolk County, where she gained insight into the thought processes of a judge and the experience of researching legal issues, writing memoranda and preparing and revising judicial orders.

She was admitted to the New York Bar in 1993 and the New Jersey Bar in 1992. She was also admitted to practice in the United States Eastern Federal District Court of New York and the United States District Court of New Jersey.

Since graduating from Touro Law school she has handled complex litigation matters such as:

• Construction site accidents
• Class-action Breast implant lawsuits
• Premises accidents
• Motor vehicle accidents
• Dog bite cases

Prior to joining the firm, she also had the benefit of experiencing Insurance Defense work giving her perspective of both the plaintiff’s and the defendant’s side of a case. Her unique perspective enhances her ability to effectively maximize a personal injury claim when negotiating with defense attorneys and insurance adjusters who often undervalue a claim.
